Sunfare This plan was begun in 1997 in Los Angeles, launched from a kitchen rented from a bar and with only two clients, by John Stewart and Carl Ferro. They launched a progressive system of home-delivered gourmet meals named The Delivery Zone. Today, The Delivery Zone is known as Sunfare and has offices in Southern California and Arizona and with a growing client base of 6,000 customers. This program seems to be popular with Hollywood celebrities.

This program is NOT available nationwide, just in California and Arizona. Four plans are offered:

Zone - The most popular and customizable nutrition program, a well-balanced diet that performs well to sustain overall health.

Vegetarian Zone - A vegetarian version of the Zone, which uses premium quality tofu, tempe, and soy products as protein sources.

Sunfare High Protein - This is a high protein diet combined with a low carb intake. Effective for weight loss.

Sunfare Select - The least expensive program, a variety of calorie-conscious meals.

Sunfare Family Dinners - Convenient program for up to 5 people.

Most meals are packaged in plastic, microwave safe containers. Certain side items may come in regular, non-microwavable packaging.

Weekly Meal Plans... These provide a high degree of flexibility. They can comprise any variation of the meals and snacks offered on any days of the week you choose. They also give you the option to cancel individual meals throughout the week (with 48 hrs. notice).

Monthly Meal Plans... Monthly meal plans are sold at a discounted rate in blocks of 20 or 28 days at a time. These are prepaid meal plans that come with a set number of meals and snacks per day.

Prices

Weekly plans require a minimum order of $24.95/day. Therefore, you would expect to pay about $748 per month under this plan, less if prepaid for the entire 28 days. We're not sure if this price includes shipping.
